Today we are talking about fashion icons and the valuable lessons you can learn from them! If you are not too big into fashion trends- that’s okay! Having a “fashion sense” does not mean wearing all the trendy and expensive clothes. Finding your style and expressing your uniqueness through appealing and interesting clothes is what we consider to be fashion sense. Furthermore, Solange is a fashion icon because of her unique fashion sense and her stance against minimalistic fashion.

A$AP Rocky (Rakim Athelaston Mayers) is an American rapper and songwriter. He was born on October 3rd, 1988 in New York City. He is part of the hip-hop collective known as A$AP Mob. Also, Rocky has many musical accolades from his critically acclaimed albums to BET awards- he is undoubtedly a talented individual.

6. Cher

Cher (Cherilyn Sarkisian) is a singer, actress, and television personality. She was born in America on May 20th, 1946. Not only is she awarded artist, but she is also known as being a trendsetter in the 1960s popularizing the famous “hippie” style. A Time magazine writer referred to Cher as a “cultural phenomenon [who] has changed the way we see celebrity fashion”.

7. Audrey Hepburn

As an adult, Zendaya has been taking on more serious roles allowing her acting abilities to be showcased. Diana, Princess of Wales (Diana Frances Spencer) was a member of the British Royal Family. Diana was born in England on July 1st, 1961. She was married to Prince Charles and had Prince William and Prince Harry. Diana was an international icon and activist and was known for her beauty, grace, and intelligence. Her glamour and fashion have stood the test of time and are still a topic of conversation.

What you can learn: You can always express your personality through your style- no matter the dress code!

10. Brigitte Bardot

Brigitte Bardot (Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot) is a French actress and singer. Bardot was born in Paris on September 28th, 1984 and is known as the 60s sex symbol. Brigitte was an aspiring ballerina in her early life and began her acting career in 1952. In conjunction with her iconic and timeless movie roles, Brigitte’s style is uniquely timeless and sexy.

What you can learn: Sexy outfits are not all about showing a lot of skin!
