Appearing Naturally Attractive- 6 Simple Tips and Law of Attraction!

Hello everyone!

Today we are talking about how to be naturally attractive and some simple tips to improve your health and embrace your appearance. To achieve this look, you need to focus on the inside instead of the outside appearance. Let go of that unrealistic figure of perfection and work on naturally refining yourself! When we think of refining our appearance, many people may jump to makeup or hair extensions (which are perfectly fine) but these are things you don’t want to rely on to look presentable. 

There’s nothing wrong with dolling yourself up to the 9s but how do you look underneath all that? That is what is important.

Most of what we see as beautiful and attractive is health! Have you ever met someone who was not technically conventionally attractive to society’s standard but was still absolutely beautiful? We guarantee that this person took great pride in their appearance and put their health first. Unless you have a medical need, you can still look gorgeous without serious cosmetic surgery. Follow these tips and watch yourself glow!

So let’s get into it!

1. Teeth

Your teeth, smile, and breath are VERY important for you to appear naturally attractive. Oral hygiene is an indicator of your health and can influence others’ perceptions of you. If braces or Invisalign is a viable option, we would recommend you get them done! You also should be brushing your teeth at least twice a day (day and night), and after each meal, if you wish. Be conscious and try to carry gum (or toothbrush and toothpaste) with you everywhere you go but avoid speaking to people while chewing gum.

Your brushing routine should always include flossing, brushing, and mouthwash (optional: tongue scraping). Floss between every tooth, brush for at least two minutes (don’t forget your gums), vigorously brush your tongue or tongue scrape, and finish off with a whitening mouthwash. If you want to improve the colour of your teeth, you can get affordable whitening strips from Walmart or Amazon. You can use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. If you have some disposable funds, get them professionally whitened.

We do not recommend lemon juice, strawberries, or charcoal as they seriously damage the state of your enamel and can cause significant issues. A good rule of thumb is to not whiten them past the shade of white of your eyes. Don’t destroy the health of your teeth trying to achieve a certain level of whiteness. Whiten in increments and once you get the colour you desire, maintain it through whitening mouthwash and sensitive whitening toothpaste!

2. Hair

The state of your hair is also a great deal of your appearance and attractiveness. Before we jump into changing your hair, you need to care for your hair! You need to focus on the health of your crown not only through a proper and regular routine that addresses your concerns (dryness, frizziness, heat damage, colouring damage, etc) but a diet that is providing your hair with enough nutrients to grow healthily. As we said in our previous post, “important nutritional staples for hair growth include vitamin D (salmon, ricotta, mackerel, egg yolks), vitamin E (almond, peanut butter, pumpkin, safflower oil, spinach), biotin (meats, eggs, fish, seed, sweet potatoes), protein (protein powder, meats, fish, beans, nuts, cottage cheese), and omega-3 fatty acids (supplements, fish, avocados).”

Next, you’ll want to find a colour and style that would best suit you. Watch Youtube videos of your skin shade and undertones and determine your face shape. Try to research what kind of cuts, styles, or colours would best complement your natural features. Have fun and make a Pinterest board with some hair spiration!

3. Skin

Most of the time our skin is a reflection of what is going on inside our bodies but other times medical intervention is needed. Just at a first glance, the state of your skin can help you appear healthy and attractive. Don’t feel ashamed to reach out to a board-certified dermatologist to get some skin therapy. Research aestheticians in your area and find one willing to educate you and help your skin improve over time! We have a couple of posts about skincare routines that can help you learn a bit about the basics. Exfoliate your body often and moisturize properly. Don’t be afraid of incorporating a body oil or a body mask into your routine! This can give your body a nice glow!

Just like our hair, our diet and regimen are important in achieving glowing skin. Find out your skin type and build a manageable routine to address your skin concerns (discolouration, acne, dryness, oiliness). Always start with absolute basics (cleanser, lotion, and sunscreen) and then add steps that are absolutely necessary. 

Body hair removal can be painful and it’s totally not necessary. Do what makes you feel comfortable but sure you are always well-kept. Being naturally attractive does not mean you have to do things you hate.

Shaving is a popular method but can be an issue for some. Try to exfoliate before you shave, use shaving cream/oil, and add an astringent on areas that you are prone to ingrown and irritation. Be soft with your skin after shaving but begin exfoliation a couple of days after to prevent ingrown hairs.

Depilatory creams such as Nair or Veet are a painless way of removing hair. All you have to do is apply the cream to areas containing wanted hair and let it sit for 5-7 minutes. Wipe off the cream and you instantly have smooth skin!

Waxing is a method of hair removal that can be done anywhere on the body. It pulls the hair out from the root, therefore, lasts longer than shaving. It can be done at home or at a salon. Make sure to take care of your skin afterwards to avoid irritation.

Laser hair removal is the process of using a laser machine on shaved skin to slow down hair growth. Multiple treatments are needed but many people see great. Be careful with laser hair removal depending on your skin tone and hair colours (deeper tones can get burnt and blondes are not able to do this).

Electrolysis is the only proven permanent method of hair removal and can be done on any skin tone (and is said to work better than laser for thick-haired people). It is more expensive and takes longer than laser hair removal but it is truly permanent.

4. Face

This category refers to our lashes, lips, eyes, and eyebrows! There are many different beauty treatments to keep these aspects of our face looking fresh, and beautiful, making us appear naturally attractive.


First, you’ll want to ensure your lashes are strong and healthy through good practice. Eat a balanced diet and avoid harsh scrubbing when removing makeup (use an oil cleanser). Lashes compliment our eyes in very different ways.

Next, if you find you still have issues with eyelash growth we recommend you invest in a lash serum! This helps to promote blood flow in this region which aids in delivering the essential elements that increase hair growth. Castor oil is a holy grail for many people but test your skin first for any irritation and avoid your eyes during application.

There is a myriad of treatments you can get on your eyelashes. These aren’t necessary but they can give your natural appearance a much more dramatic and “already done” look.

Lash lifts are a type of treatment that semi-permanently curls your lashes. The duration is different for everyone but it can last around 6-8 weeks. This procedure is usually done in conjunction with a lash tint!

Lash tinting adds dimension and makes your eyelashes look fuller and longer by dying them! This can last around 4 weeks.

Lastly, lash extensions, the biggest commitment, is when individual lash hairs are glued to your real ones in order to add fullness, thickness, and length. These are very high maintenance and touch-ups are required every 3 weeks to keep them looking in tip-top shape. These are also not an inexpensive investment so it is something to think about it first. We also find that lash extensions damage your natural lashes, so it is best to weigh a personal pros and cons list for this.


Your lips are very important! Smooth, moisturized, and naturally coloured lips are always a great, healthy, and attractive look. Hydration is important for keeping your lips plump. Make sure you are drinking at least 2 litres of water every day and moisturizing your lips with a hydrating lip balm (not just lip gloss). You can also incorporate lip exfoliation into your routine to ward off dead skin. Just use some sugar, honey, and olive oil and then moisturize afterwards!

There are also lip shading procedures to even out the colour of your lips or to add a touch of colour. This is not a cheap investment as it is not permanent and can run you from $300-800 depending on your location. 

This is not necessary but can be a great investment for those with extra money to spend. Lip fillers are a very popular and overdone procedure in current times. They tend to look extremely unnatural and overdone in most cases. If you are considering lip fillers, please take time to research into and start off conservatively! It is very hard to undo seriously botched cases.


Take care of your eyesight! Wear sunglasses, reading glasses, and blue light glasses. Manage your screen time. Invest in contacts and use hydrating eye drops when necessary. If you notice your eyesight getting worse, do not neglect to schedule an appointment with your optometrist. Our eyes are important and we need to treat them as such.


Eyebrows are very personal to everyone. They frame our faces and can radically change our appearance. Eyebrows that suit your unique features do more than you can imagine in appearing naturally attractive. If you have issues growing out your eyebrows, using an eyebrow growth serum is a great option. A lot of people swear by castor oil but patch-test this before putting it on your face! The recent trend has been big, fluffy eyebrows but if this is not for you can get your eyebrows threaded or waxed. Threading refers to the process of removing hair by using a special thread. This has been developed in Southeast Asia and the Middle East centuries ago. Waxing involves applying hot wax to the areas with unwanted hair and pulling off and removing the hair. The results will last depending on the rate of hair regrowth.

You can get your eyebrows mapped to make sure they suit your face perfectly! Research and take time before going to get your eyebrows done because not everyone is equally qualified.

If you’re looking for a more permanent (and expensive) solution to perfect eyebrows, there are many different treatments. Research what you want, the aesthetician, and weigh out the pros and cons.

Eyebrow tinting refers to dying the eyebrow with dye formulated for the eyebrows or henna to darken and refine the shape. This is great for people with thin or very light eyebrows because it can help bring dimension to your face. Tinting can last anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks.

Eyebrow lamination perms eyebrows into the “soap brow” look (brushed up and thick). The results can last for up to 8 weeks.

Microblading involves tattooing eyebrow hair stroke into the skin using a needle and semi-permanent pigment. A touch-up is needed after the initial procedure to fill in any spots and the final results can last over 2 years.

Shading/ powder brows are similar to microblading but the technique and tools do not provide individuals eyebrow strokes but a soft powdered look. The powder can also last up to 3 years.

Nano brows are the most expensive procedure and arguably the most natural-looking. This procedure is done by an ultra-sharp needle that can produce strokes similar to real eyebrow hair. This lasts up to 3 years.

5. Wadrobe

It’s time for you to revamp your wardrobe! Buy clothes that fit your body shape and your skin tone. Learn how to dress according to codes and age appropriately. Invest in the quality of your clothing and get comfortable with tailoring your clothes. You look so much more put together when your clothes fit every curvature of your body. Learn how to properly wash your clothes, remove stains, and lint, and iron/steam them when necessary. This is not a huge step but can make a huge difference in your appearance.

6. Weight

Ensure that you are healthy and your height/ weight proportions are ideal. Consult a BMI chart, determine your body fat percentage, and your goal weight. There is undeniably a bias towards those who keep themselves fit. Focus on your body fat percentage and your measurements. The scale, more often than not, is inaccurate in showing you what is actually happening with your body. For women, a 20-25 body fat percentage range is usually healthy but this can vary widely on your body shape, proportions, height, and age. For men, it is usually a bit lower around 14-20 percent.

Start with proper diet and exercise first and then start tracking your progress. You want to build a sustainable lifestyle, not a crash diet. Don’t change your body ONLY to be naturally attractive, you need to want to change for yourself first and foremost and from a place of self-love and not self-hate.

Remember, self-love and confidence are also essential.
